From 2 Medical Center Drive, Springfield

  • Head south on Springfield Street
  • Turn right onto Chestnut Street
  • Continue on Noble Street (Chestnut turns into Noble)
  • Turn right onto Main Street
  • Turn left at Wason Avenue
    • The office is located on the right of Wason Avenue. This is just past the intersection of Wason Avenue and Birnie Avenue, just over the railroad tracks. Parking is in the rear.

From Route 91 coming from the North

  • Take Exit 11, Birnie Avenue
  • Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Birnie Avenue
  • Go to the end of Birnie Avenue (Birnie Avenue ends at Wason Avenue)
  • Turn left onto Wason Avenue. 
    • The office is located on the right of Wason Avenue, just past the railroad tracks. Parking is in the rear.

From Route 91 coming from the South

  • Take Exit 10
  • Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Main Street
  • Turn left at Wason Avenue
    • The office is located on the right of Wason Avenue. This is just past the intersection of Wason Avenue and Birnie Avenue, just over the railroad tracks. Parking is in the rear.

The City of Springfield is replacing and repairing the water mains and sewer pipes in the North End of Springfield.  There are frequent traffic delays and street disruptions.  This work should end in the spring of 2010.  Patients should leave plenty of time to get to 100 Wason for their appointments.
 

Below are alternate routes to assist patients in getting to 100 Wason Avenue:
 

Access from Main St. to Wason Ave. is limited and, depending on construction, may or may not be available.

Alternate Directions 1

  • Coming from Springfield, follow Main Street north towards Chicopee (In Chicopee, Main St. turns into Center Street)
    • If you are coming from Chicopee, you would be going south on Center Street towards Springfield.
  • 4/10 mile past Wason Ave. (going towards Chicopee) turn left onto Plainfield St.  AM Lithography is on the northwest corner.
    • Coming from Chicopee, turn right onto Plainfield St.
  • Go 1/2 mile on Plainfield St.  You will go across the railroad tracks, past Buxton and Bay Oil Company, and along the Connecticut River.  When you pass Pioneer Cold – a large white warehouse – turn left onto Wason Ave.
    • 100 Wason Ave. is 1/10 mile from the intersection of Wason Ave. and Plainfield St.  Turn left into our parking lot.  The turn into 100 Wason Ave. is opposite Fisk Ave.

Alternate Directions 2 - From Route 20 (Plainfield St. or West St. depending where you are)

  • When coming from the direction of West Springfield (North End Bridge), turn left onto Plainfield St.
  • If you’re coming from Route 91 south of Springfield, take Exit 9 and follow the signs to West Springfield. 
    • This puts you onto Route 20.  Go over the highway (Route 91) and then turn right onto Plainfield St.  Follow directions below.
  • When coming from the direction of Springfield, turn right onto Plainfield St.
    • Go 1/2 mile on Plainfield St. and then turn left to continue on Plainfield St.  The turn is at the light across from Chestnut Accelerated Middle School.
    • Go 4/10 mile on this section of Plainfield St.
  • Turn right onto Wason Ave.
    • 100 Wason Ave. is 1/10 mile from the intersection of Wason Ave. and Plainfield St.  Turn left into our parking lot.  The turn into 100 Wason Ave. is opposite Fisk Ave.
